Tip #1: Improve CTR Place Ad's "Above the fold".

Simply put, this means you should aim to place your ads within the top 25% of your website content. Why is this important for improving your CTR? Because this is the area of your page that your visitor's eyes first see. Many eyetracking studies have been done on this subject, and more information on this can be found here.

Tip #2: Improve CTR Blend your ads.

Many webmasters have found much more success from adsense by blending their adsense ads colors with their page, so they are not such an eyesore and may appear to be part of your sites content, thus more clicks will be received.

I feel, however, if you are the webmaster of a site which has many of the same repeat visitors everyday, you should consider rotating your ad colors. More on that in a later article.

Tip #3: Improve CTR Place ads within your content.

Below post title, floating to the left of your content has been found to me most effective.

Tip #4: Improve CTR Use images to draw attention to your ads.
